JP quits in protest of GCSB act

While John Key appears to not be listening, this JP has just pulled the pin. The JP, who it turns out is something of a history junkie, has been looking at depth into Britain in the 1680’s. Mentioned in the article is the close coreellation between comments made by the apologists of the time for the King, and Key now, in his oft use mantra “trust me”. Things in Britain got so bad, that ultimately the Bill of Rights was passed, simply to quell the Kings powers.

Anyway, the article spells it out far better than I can. A thought provoking read.
