Of course you can trust the NSA

Well, what a surprise!! The NSA have been snapped violating their “strict rules” in illegally spying on people in thousands of instances. And John Key expects us to suck it up when he gives our own GCSB very similar powers. Too often I have head Key effectively say “trust us”, but if the oversea experience is anything to go by (and lets face it, the GCSB will be used as nothing more than an instrument for the US based NSA), they will simply ride roughshod over the rules, and if they get caught, “whoops”. This has already happened, you only have to look at the 88 instances of illegal spying by the GCSB, and Keys very apparent effort to cover his arse. Never underestimate a politicians eagerness to save face.
